Reselling Formula: Enchant – Major Stamina

Buy and sell of formulas might be the oldest trick when it comes to making gold in the World of Warcraft. It’s one of those things that can give you additional income. You must not make it your only source of income as the market can quickly be saturated. Not only that, players might smarten up and learn where to buy the formulas for less than that in the Auction House.

When you want to start in the reselling business, be sure to check Shattrath City. That’s where you can find Madame Ruby (63,70). She sells a couple of enchanting formulas and trade goods such as Formula: Enchant Chest – Minor Mana, Lesser Magic Essence, Copper Rod, Formula: Large Prismatic Shard, Formula: Lesser Wizard Oil, Formula: Minor Mana Oil, Formula: Minor Wizard Oil, and Strange Dust.

Among the things she’s selling, the formula you might want to focus on would be Formula: Enchant – Major Stamina. This formula is listed at 4gold. Though the price is high, you could sell it in the Auction House for 15 to 20 gold. That’s high return of your gold investment. You should put one in the Auction House at a time. Do this as to not saturate your market right away. And you would be wasting gold on deposit for unsold items.

You might be asking why people would buy the formula in the Auction House for that price when they can get it cheaper from the vendor. One of the reasons might be because people don’t know where to get it in the first place. Then there are some that are too busy to explore that they rely on the Auction Houses to supply what they need.

Be the one that fills in that need. This doesn’t only pertain to Formula: Enchant – Major Stamina. There are various formulas that you can buy and resell in the World of Warcraft that you can profit from. Watch your realm’s Auction House for other recipes that’s on sale and find out where you can buy those.

I won’t recommend buying and reselling recipes full time. Do this only if you need gold right away. Otherwise do the other gold generating tips from this web site. Reselling might give your bank the much needed gold boost but it’s only a short term solution. For a more permanent solution for your gold problems, doing dailies regularly is what I suggest.

Mote of Life Could Liven up Your Bank

Mote of Life might be the cheapest elemental mote in the Auction House but still it would not be a waste of time farming for these. There are lots of spots in the Zangarmarsh where you can grind for Motes of Life.

The opinions might differ as to where the best grinding spot might be. Most of the farmers would go to The Spawning Glen and the Quagg Ridge for their farming needs. Though the Bog Lords, Starving Bog Lords, Fungal Giants and Starving Fungal Giants do have decent drop rates and are relatively close to each other, these areas are overpopulated and therefore could not be worth your time.

It is essential for farmers to know that it is not only the drop rates that need to be considered when farming for something. You must also consider the crowd and the kill rate. If you have the area all to yourself then consider that spot as a great farming spot.

For Mote of Life, the best place to farm considering the three factors would be The Lagoon. Here is where you can find lots of Lagoon Walkers. The Lagoon is relatively quiet farming spot. You might even be the only one farming here. Plus the Lagoon Walkers could be easily killed. Thus giving this spot a perfect 3 out of 3 in the farming scoreboard.

The respawn rate of the Lagoon Walkers is great. The Lagoon has two islands. First kill all the Lagoon Walkers from an island. When you clear it, hop into the second island. While clearing the second island, you’ll notice that the mobs on the first island will be respawning.

Another bonus is the other drops. Lagoon Walkers have high drop rates for Creeping Moss and Blighted Fungus. These gray items could fetch a considerable amount when sold to a NPC. Also they drop Unidentified Plant Parts. These could be turned in for Cenarion Expedition rep until honored. These could also be sold at the Auction House for25silver each. Not only that, you could also get various green items that you can put in the AH as well.

You should take note that the Lagoon Walkers don’t give any Sporeggar reps. Herbalism can’t also herbalized them for extra herbs. Even with these limitations, grinding Lagoon Walkers for Mote of Life is worth it. Try it out today and I promise you that you won’t regret every second of it.

Cobra Scale Farming for Level 70 Skinner

Every Skinner and Leatherworker knows the importance of Cobra Scales. These are needed to make various items such as Cobrascale Gloves, Cobrascale Hood, Nethercobra Leg Armor, Cobrahide Leg Armor, and different Stylin’ Hats.

That’s why there’s a huge demand for Cobra Scales all the time. A single Cobra Scale could fetch around 30gold each in the Auction House. Not too mention if you’re a Leatherworker, you could make a lot more if you use it to make items. Cobrahide Leg Armor is priced at 250gold while Nethercobra Leg Armor is priced at 550gold. Who said that Leatherworkers don’t earn much?

There are only three types of monster that Cobra Scales can be skinned from. These are Shadow Serpent and Coilskar Cobra of Shadowmoon Valley; and Twilight Serpent of Nagrand.

Of the three mobs, you should focus on the Twilight Serpent. They are found in Twilight Ridge which is located west of Camps Hate and Fear. Best of all, Twilight Serpents are yellow mobs therefore you don’t have to fear of accidentally drawing aggro. It’s not only Cobra Scales that can be skinned from them but also Knothide Leather as well.

I suggest that you do your farming along with the Gaining the Advantage quest. This could be accepted from Emissary Mordin in Shattrath City. Then you could skin the Twilight Serpents for Nether Residue as well.

If the first spot is crowded, you could try going to Shadowmoon Valley for the Shadow Serpents. They share the same drop rate as the Twilight Serpents plus the area is full of Enraged Air Spirits as well. Not only do you get Cobra Scales, but you can farm for Motes of Air at the same time. In a hour, you could get around 1 to 3 Cobra Scales and at least a couple of Primal Airs. The serpents share spawn point with scorpids so you have to kill the scorpids in the area as well.

As for the Coilskar Cobras, they are located at the Coilskar Point in Shadowmoon Valley. If it’s your first time in the area, you can do the escort quest, Escape from Coilskar Cistern, inside the cave. Earthmender Wilda does a lot of DPS, so all you have to do is skin her kills.

Cobra Scales could be the most lucrative item that a skinner can farm. Grinding for this item will be the best thing you can do since you’ve rolled a skinner. If you’re a Leatherworker as well then say hello to easy WoW gold.

Farming for Felcloth

Farming for Felcloth

Felcloth is a trade item used by Tailors to make things such as Core Felcloth Bag, Robe of the Void, and the Runed Stygian set. It is also used by Leatherworkers to make Wicked Leather Armor. Last time I checked, a single Felcoth sells for 2gold at my realm’s Auction House.

Felcloths are dropped by satyrs. There are three spots that I usually go to farm for Felcloth. They are in Felwood, Azshara and in Dire Maul.

Among the three areas, I highly recommend that you go to Felwood. Jadefire Hellcasters and Jadefire Tricksters are found in the Jadefire Run (42,17). Based on my experience, these mobs have the best drop rate for Felcloth. You should at least be level 56 to farm here to avoid unnecessary pulls. One thing about this spot though is that it tends to be crowded.

This leads us to the next spot. The Legashi Satyrs at the Lagashi Compund (61,25) in North Azshara also drops Felcloth but with a much lower drop rate. This fact makes this spot a little less crowded. One thing though, the Legashi Satyrs are much weaker than their Jadefire counterparts thus you can kill a lot more per hour of farming. Respawn rate is fine here. You could go around the area and when you get back to where you started the mobs have already respawned.

Lastly we have the Wildspawn Satyrs inside Dire Maul. You must be at level 70 to try farming here because these mobs are elites. I don’t recommend going here though but if you like soloing instances and at the same time farm for felcloth then this is the place to be. Be sure to be well geared as well before trying to solo this instance.

Here are just a couple of things to consider when farming for Felcloth. First of all, you must be at least level 60 before considering farming for these. These mobs are hard to solo under level 60, therefore would not be worth it. For classes with AoE, the Felwood Satyr is the best place to farm while melee classes would enjoy farming in Azshara. Tricksters have mind control so it is best to farm alone. Lastly, respect other farmers.

By the way, there is another source of Felcloth. Vi’el, an imp in Winterspring, sells Felcloth for 80silver each. These are limited and oly 2 Felcloths are available at one time.
