WoW Guides For Gold

My name is Nance and I’m the new owner of Guides For Gold. I wanted to take a second to update everyone on my plans going forward with this blog.

As the site’s new owner, I’m going to continue to provide quick tips on the quickest and easiest ways to earn gold in World of Warcraft. At the same time, I’m a very casual WoW player who enjoys the PvP game so I’ll be writing about that quite often as well.

Over the course of this week I’ll mainly be doing maintenance work on this blog by building some more content pages and formatting older posts to play nicer with the new theme.

Sorry for the slow update… I had to do last-minute homework Holidays end today..

A mate of mine was keylogged and lost quite a bit of stuff known as TEM57C.TMP.EXE (read more about it here )

It’s been around since February, but I would just like to bring it to your attention as it’s been spreading quite rapidly. Now I wouldn’t want to bore you with what it does, but be sure to have a decent anti-virus (I recommend Nod32 or Avast) and a Firewall (I recommend Comodo Firewall)!

The easiest way to check if you’re infected with this WoW keylogger is to check your running processes (Task Manager –> Processes). If you have something running called SCV host (NOT SVC host, which is  windows process) then you’re infected and should do some serious scanning and be more careful.

One a side note: I reformatted my computer again… Going to do a backup of my files in case the hardware screws up again and if it does, I’m getting new ones.

Ok, I admit this has nothing to do with making gold on World of Warcraft, but c’mon… We all need a change once in a while! I was browsing BRK’s Signature Page and those signatured look awesome! I will be using them to show off my 1337 stats at a couple WoW Forums, you should too
