WoW Guides For Gold

Sorry for this late post, my computer screwed up… Had to redownload Roboform in order to login to blog! I hope it doesn’t go down on me after I restart again…

As many of you guys know, you can make a lot of gold from Darkmoon Faire but for those of you who don’t (do you like under a rock or something?) it’s just 2 NPC’s that sell precious/rare items at ridiculously low prices. These items include valuable plants, rare gems etc. And the best thing about this is that the items spawn every 20 minutes or so. Now this obviously means you can make a lot of money reselling these items at the AH; me and my friend made around 10,000G in one Darkmoon Faire week! This is how we did it.

Basically we’re going to use the addon FreeRefills to buy items for the vendor automatically (it’s 100% allowed for WoW) which is essential when competing against many other players for items. One of the best thing about this addon is that it buys it without having to scroll pages etc.

Setting up FreeRefills

First off, install it like installing any other addon (refer to this ). To make it choose what items to buy, use the command /freerefills add [ITEMLINK] # Where [ITEMLINK] is the item you want to buy (Shift-Click the item to get the link, if you don’t have the item go check the AH) and # is the amount of the item you want in your inventory - obviously the higher the better, just be sure to have enough money! Example of this command: /freerefills add [ Fel Lotus ] 400

Now repeat the command for each item you are wanting to buy, here are the items I recommend you to buy:

Lhara:

- Fel Lotus
- Black Lotus
- Mountain Silversage
- Netherbloom
- Nightmare Vine
- Enchanted Leather (this sells pretty badly)
- Golden Sansam
- Ghost Mushroom
- Dreamfoil
- Terocone

Professor Thaddeus Paleo

- Dawnstone
- Living Ruby
- Nightseye
- Noble Topaz
- Star of Elune
- Talasite (check price on AH first to see if there is any profit buying for 12g)
- Mote of Air
- Mote of Earth
- Mote of Fire
- Mote of Life
- Mote of Water
- Mote of Mana
- Mote of Shadow

You would obviously need a bit of cash to buy all the items up there, so I suggest you buy the famous Valkors Gold Guide . It’s honestly worth it and is really cheap considering how much money you can make from it! I have personally used this guide and I guarantee you to make 1k Gold in your first week if you use all the methods.

Now all you (and your friend who is buying from the other NPC) have to do is open/close the merchant window and the addon will buy it before anyone else

Tips:

• -As said before, have 1 person on each NPC
• -Be in 1st person view as it’s easier to see the NPC and harder to be blocked by obstructing players
• -Always sell the items you buy daily as this mean you have more money to spend the next day

Note: In order to reach Darkmoon Faire when it is in Shattrath City, you need to be atleast level 58. If you aren’t already, I suggest you buy the Team iDemise 1-70 leveling guide . It is possible to hit level 70 within a weeks playing time!

I’m sure you’ve heard about this mod time and time again, but you don’t know what it is. Well this is honestly one of the best mods ever in order for you to make money from the AH. I recommend you downloading the AuctioneerAdvancedSuite which includes other addons such as Enchantrix etc.

So how do you use this addon? Well I’m not going to explain to you how to install the addon (refer to this ) but rather how to use this one in particular

First off, we need to get some saved variables onto your computer. These are the files that support Auctioneer which are gathered from auction scans. Auction scans are optional scans that happen everytime you login (called "daily scans" for some reason). They’re used to gather averages and percentages for items in the Auction House, I advise you to scan around once a day (hence the name "daily scans" I guess ) and no more than 2 otherwise it may scan the same auction twice and mess up stats. These stats are used by Auctioneer later and are used to optimize your bids and make you more money in the long run. To make auctioneer load everytime you login, type in the command /auctioneer load always . For the first few days, just let it scan the AH before you start doing whatever you do in a normal day of playing WoW.

Now comes the fun part - after you’ve done this for a bit over a week, scan the AH again (this must be done each time you use the Auctioneer Mod) and then go to the Search Auctions panel (not the first one). If you’re more experienced, you can mess around with the percentages a prices but if you aren’t, just hit search. You should now get a lot of auctions with information such as bid price and the amount of profit made from selling this items (based on the averages you gathered before by scanning). Now go and search for profit auctions under buyout prices, IMO this is the best place to do your buying as you can resell it immediately after buying. Now all you gotta do is to find some cheap items that are below the average and resell it immediately to make decent profit in minutes

Of course, this is just the basics of using Auctioneer Mod. There are many strategies which take both skill and experience so just mess around with this awesome mod for now.
