Zapthrottle Mote ExtractorThis is a guide for high level Engineers who want to make big amounts of gold, all you need is an Engineering level of 305. What you do is a get a Zapthrottle Mote Extractor either by making one or having another engineer make it for you. After getting the Mote Extractor, I recommend you getting an item that has a “Equip: Shows the location of all nearby gas clouds on the minimap” effect on it – I use Furious Gizmatic Goggles.

Primal AirAfter obtaining those items, equip your Goggles (or whatever item you’re using) and fly around Nagrand to the “Windy Clouds” your Goggles point you to (they will be shown as dots on the minimap) and use your Mote Extractor to get 3-5 Motes of Air from each cloud. With my Gyrocopter, I average 14 Primal Airs an hour – the average price on the AH is 25g so thats 350g an hour just by flying around Nagrand :-)

Preparing for the Wrath of the Lich King Expansion and make money

In all honesty, there’s not much you can do to prepare for the Wrath of the Lich King Expansion except for saving up your gold and most importantly – tradeskill materials . Why Tradeskill materials? Well I expect that Blizzard would be raising the profession caps (note: I am not sure about this, just a speculation), this means that many people would need tradeskill materials to powerlevel their professions as most characters have 2 non-gathering professions (eg. Jewelcrafting and Engineering). So what I suggest you do is stock up some high-end materials:

  1. Cloths for Tailoring and First Aid
  2. Ores for Blacksmith, Jewelcrafting and Engineering
  3. Dusts/Shards for Enchanting
  4. Skins for Leatherworking
  5. And most importantly, Primals for basically all the professions

Most professions even at level 375 have a few useful yellow recipes which I bet will be very useful when leveling above the current profession level cap. Having stocked up in some of the most important materials gives you an advantage with the rest of your server in creating new patterns and items allowing you to dominate the markets :-)

Integrate your favorite guides into WoW!

Now I’m sure you guys have all heard about Team iDemises Map Mod but for those who don’t it’s an addon that allows you to view the entire Team iDemise guide while player WoW. What this does is eliminates the alt-tabbing which takes time and is risky – especially if you’re on a PvP server. But what if you don’t use the Team iDemise guide? What if it was something like the Valkors Gold Guide ? They don’t have a mod that integrates the guide into the game… Well, don’t worry, I have a solution for you :-)

Preview of NotesUNeed To integrate your favorite guides into World of Warcraft the guide must first be able to be copy/pasted, so if the PDF file is secured, you have to type it out on Notepad or something. After finding your guide, you will need to download an addon called NotesUNeed . You can now make custom notes!

So how do you use it? It’s easy really, either click on the UI (User Interface) button or type /nun -g
A General Note window will be brought up. Now go back to your guide and copy/paste the information youPreview of NotesUNeed want into this window. This fantastic mod can handle as many sections as you want, I generally group all related stuff together. What makes NotesUNeed even better is that it keeps all formatting and has an awesome search feature which you can use to find parts of your guides! Just use the command /nun <keyword>

Enjoy this 100% free and legal mod :-)

Farming Netherweave cloth

Netherweave Cloth Netherweave cloths have been getting extremely useful and are always in demand for Tailoring and First Aid. Stacks of Netherweave go for around 5G (depending on your realm). Today I’m going to show you some of the mobs that have nice drop rates of this item.

Note: Before we start, I recommend you to be level 70. Purchase the Team iDemise 1-70 guide here , I have used this guide myself and the MapMod addon is a lifesaver.

Ganarg Sapper The demons at the Forge Camps in Hellfire Peninsula were my favorite mobs to farm on, especially the demons at Forge Camp: Rage; Forge Camp: Magedonn wasn’t too bad as well. The only downside with these demons are that they hit quite hard for their level, that’s why I recommended you the Team iDemise guide so you can farm for longer :-)

The demons at Shadowmoon Valley were also a great place to farm for Netherweave cloth. They had a decent drop rate and on top of that, you get some nice Aldor reputation :-)

I have also heard that the Ogres at the Laughing Skull Ruin in Nagrand are very easy to kill and have a good drop-rate of Netherweave cloth. It’s also good for Nagrand reputation :-)

Some tips when farming:

  1. Clean out unnecessary items in your bags, you want to stay farming for as long as possible!
  2. Have your items fully repaired, bring along foods and drinks
  3. Farm with a friend for faster mob killing
