Timbermaw Hold might be a Classic WoW faction but it would be rewarding for an individual to build up one’s reputation with them. It has rewards for Blacksmiths, Alchemists, Leatherworkers, Tailors and Enchanters. Be ready for the long grind to up your rep with the faction. There are two zones in which you can grind for this faction’s rep with two to three areas to visit in each zone.
One of the zones to grind for Timbermaw Rep would be Felwood. Here you can find Deadwood Avengers, Gardeners, Den Watchers, Pathfinders, Shamans, and Warriors. With each kill you’ll get 4 rep points. You could also do quests to level your rep. One of which is Deadwood of the North. This is a grinding quest wherein you must kill a number of Deadwood mobs. Once you’ve completed this quest, you’ll unlock a repeatable quest where you’ll be required to turn in five Deadwood Headdress Feathers. Each turn in is equivalent to 300 Timbermaw Hold Rep. The mobs would also drop Deadwood Ritual Totem that starts a quest. Turn the quest in to Kernda for 1,400 rep with the Timbermaw Hold.
You could also try going to Winterspring for your Timbermaw Hold rep grind. What you need to grind for rep would be the Winterspring Pathfinders, Totemics, Shaman, Den Watchers, Runners, Ursas, and the High Chief Winterfall. When you don’t get any XP from the kill, High Chief Winterfall is worth 8 rep. You could also do the Winterspring Activity quest to unlock the repeatable quest where you are required to turn in Winterspring Spirit Beads. 5 pieces of Winterspring Spirit Beads is equal to 300 Timbermaw Hold rep. There’s also the unrepeatable quest drop called Winterspring Ritual Totem that rewards 1,400 rep.
These are some ways in which you can grind for Timbermaw Hold rep. Once you’re exalted with the faction, Gorn One Eye would offer you a quest called Root of All Evil. Do this quest and you will receive a trinket called Defender of the Timbermaw. When used, it summons a Shaman that can cast lightning bolt and healing wave. You’ll have an extra DPS and healer in one.
Building up your reputation with a classic faction such as Timbermaw Hold is always fun. Not only that you’ll can purchase certain recipes for your crafting profession. While everyone is busy at the Northend, you can easily wonder around Winterspring and Felwood for your Timbermaw Hold grind.
