Devilsaur

First time I stepped on Un’Goro Crater, the Devilsaur welcomed me. It didn’t even know where he came from. It didn’t occur to me that a guy that large can sneak up to you but the Devilsaur did. And since that day I said to Devilsaur that I’ll be back someday to hunt him down again and again and again.

A few days after I reached 70, I kept that promise. I went back to Un’Goro Crater on a Devilsaur hunting expedition. Actually, like our first meeting, I didn’t find the Devilsaur, he found me. But this time, the odds are against him. I down him down immediately.

Then, I kept circling around Un’Goro Crater and found an Ironhide Devilsaur this time. Just like the Devilsaur, he was downed easily. I’m on a roll and continued my Devilsaur killing spree.

You might be wondering how does my hatred towards Devilsaur got to do with WoW gold. Well, at first it was not my intention to farm him for gold. I just wanted to get even. So I was not aware that he is a potential gold mine.

After killing the Devilsaurs for quite some time, I found my bags to be full. Mixed in with the NPC trash are greens and two blue items. Not only did I avenge myself but I made lots of gold as well. You have to avoid the Tyrant Devilsaurs though. They can fear you into adds and that’s not a good thing, especially in a place like Un’Goro where there are lots of mobs nearby.

If you’re a skinner like me you’ll love the Devilsaurs as well. They could be skinned for Devilsaur Leather. Actually, Devilsaurs are the only source for this type of leather. A single piece of Devilsaur Leather could be sold for 1gold and up to 2gold.

Mining would love the Thorium and Mithril veins scattered around the area. There are also lots of herbs to keep herbalists busy. There are also lots of Un’Goro Soil that could be sold in the AH for 20silver a piece.

In my opinion, you don’t have to wait ‘til level 70 to solo the Devilsaurs. You can start farming these creatures at level 60. At level 60, you’ll have decent experience per hour in here. Not only will you be getting gold but experience as well. What’s nice about the area is that there are plenty to kill while waiting for a Devilsaur to spawn. You won’t be having any downtime at all except when you have to drink or eat.
