This is a WoW Guide for farming Primal Mana.
The best place in my opinion to farm for Primal Mana would have to be Kirin’Var Village in Netherstorm. The mobs you should target are Mana Seekers and Mageslayers. They both have an average drop rate (30%-ish) as well as a fast respawn rate.
There are also lots of them in Kirin’Var allowing you to farm there with other people without a problem. Another bonus is that they’re fairly easy to kill and don’t hit hard.
With people around, I average around 100g an hour. When I’m alone, I hit the 150g-160g mark.
