If you’re a Level 60 Mage, you can start saving for your epic flying mount by following this guide. Your Mage can either be Frost spec with Ice Barrier and Improved Arcane Explosion; or Fire spec with Combustion and Blast Wave.
If your Mage has the qualities mentioned above then head to the Scarlet Monastery Graveyard. Kill all the mobs in the hallway and room. If you feel that you’re in danger, pop Mana Shield. For the groups of four, the fight would depend on your spec.
For Fire Spec:
Enable Combustion > Blast Wave > Arcane Explosion (until the mobs are around 15% health) > Frost Nova (then fall back) > Flame Strike > Cone of Cold.
For Frost Spec:
Ice Barrier > Arcane Explosion (until the mobs are around 15% health) > Frost Nova (then fall back) > Blizzard > Cone of Cold.
Now that you’ve cleared the room, go to the next hallway. Once you’ve reached the Graveyard, stop for a while. This would be the spot where you’ll be earning your WoW gold. Be sure to have full mana and health because you’ll be pulling lots of Forsaken Spirit once you start. Again the fight would be dependent on your spec.
For Fire Spec:
Mana Shield > Combustion
Then run around the Graveyard and pull around 25 Forsaken Spirits. Avoid pulling the Elites. Stop the pull when your health is around 50%. Drink mana potion if needed and then,
Blast Wave > Frost Nova
Fall back so that the Forsaken Spirits can’t reach you before they die.
For Frost Spec:
Pop Ice Barrier and then pull around 25 Forsaken Spirits while avoiding the Elites. Once the Ice Barrier is wearing off, you might want to cast Mana Shield. Once your health drops to 50%, stop pulling. Drink Mana potion if needed and then, use Arcane Explosion until the mobs are dead. It would usually take around 4 Arcane Explosions to kill the Forsaken Spirits.
Now all you need to do is to loot the dead mobs. You’ll be getting around 7 to 11gold and green items as well that you can sell at the Auction House. You might want to go clear the building and kill the boss at the end. Then you go and reset the instance. If you still have slot in your bags then you can go straight back to the instance. Otherwise, you can go back to the Graveyard at once.
