I happened to be Aldor but I still love farming for Scryer tokens. This is a steady source of gold for me. Sunfury Signets could be sold at the Auction House for at least 1gold while Arcane Tomes go for as high as 15gold each.
Shadowmoon Valley is a great source for Sunfury Signets and Arcane Tomes. Go to the Eclipse Point and kill all the Eclipsion mobs in sight. There’s a bonus here if you’re a skinner. The Eclipsion Dragonhawks could be skinned for Wind Scales, which could be sold for 10gold each. Plus the Eclipsion Archmages drop Formula: Enchant Cloak – Greater Arcane Resistance for Enchanters. For Alchemists, there’s the Recipe: Fel Mana Potion, although this binds on pick up.
The Ruins of Karabor in Shadowmoon Valley is also a nice farming spot for Sunfury Signets and Arcane Tomes although this spot is crowded most of the time but the respawn rate in this area is great.
Another zone worth farming for Scryer Tokens is Netherstorm. There are various mobs that drop Sunfury Signets and Arcane Tomes. The Sunfury mobs around any Manaforges in the Area could supply you with lots of Scryer Tokens. Last time I did my grind in Netherstorm, I got around 45 Sunfury Signets and 2 Arcane Tomes in an hour. I also got a couple of greens that could be sold in the Auction House as well.
Out of the two zones, I found Shadowmoon Valley to be less crowded. Plus the drop rate for Arcane Tomes is much higher there than in Netherstorm, although the mobs are much weaker in Netherstorm. If you’re already level 70 then I suggest that you farm for Scryer Tokens at the Eclipse Point of Shadowmoon Valley.
As you can see, farming for Scryer Tokens, such as Sunfury Signets and Arcane Tomes, can be profitable. If you’re looking for a quick way to make WoW gold, this is the way to do it. You don’t have to be Scryers in order to profit from their reputation tokens. Best of all there are a couple of grinding spots to choose from.
