You might have chanced upon Teremus the Devourer while you were farming or doing quests in the Blasted Lands. This elite boss loves roaming around the area. Well, at level 60 he could be a source for easy WoW gold daily but you have to share the loot with your group. Wait until you reach 70 and try to solo him if you can.
5 level 60s can easily kill Teremus the Devourer. I killed him by my lonesome at level 70. He drops a couple of greens but what you like him to drop would be Flawless Draenethyst Sphere. He also drops one to three at one time. This alone could be sold for at least 100gold.
But what you should do is bring the Flawless Draenethyst Sphere to Kum’isha the Collector at the Blasted Lands. He will then reward you with an Emerald Encrusted Chest. This chest contains random BoE items that could be blue or even epic. I got Cow King’s Hide from it once. It is said that the chest can contain Hammer of the Northern Wind, Kang the Decapitator, and the Ring of Saviors. These epic items are worth more than 100gold each.
Don’t be scared about his ?? level. He seems to be much lower than what it usually pertains and could easily be downed by a level 70. He usually spawns at (47,93). As a hunter, I would position myself on the mountain to have a clear view of the map. Teremus the Devourer is immune to DoT, Shouts, Stuns, and Silence. He’s immune to fire and ice spells therefore mages and warlocks might have a disadvantage farming him alone. Because you can’t use DoT on him, you must pour on the damage. At level 60, the DPS must not hold back to finish the battle as soon as possible. Melee classes would definitely be more at ease with Teremus the Devourer.
If you’re thinking of soloing Teremus the Devourer, be sure to pull him towards a tree at your back. He has a skill that would punt you away from him. This will prevent that from happening. One time I forgot to do this and was punted away. He would reset if you go too far from him.
He spawns once a day therefore you can farm him every day. For just 10 minutes at most, you can make 100gold daily. Make it part of your habit.
