Top Five Outlands Farming Spots

It is only rational that once you’ve hit level 70, the only place you need to spend a lot of time in is the Outlands, save for the daily Isle of Quel’danas run. The Outlands is where you can farm for items that worth a lot than any items you’ll find in Azeroth. Items such as elemental motes that could be turned into primals can bring in a lot of WoW gold for you.

One of the places in the Outlands that I love is the Hellfire Peninsula, specifically at the eastern regions where the Voidwalkers are aplenty. In an hour of farming the area can give you around 2 Primal Shadows that is worth 30gold each. That’s 60gold in just an hour. Plus you’ll also get a couple of greens and vendor trash as well. The Voidwalkers would also drop decent gold with each kill.

For skinners like me, Nagrand would be the place to grind for Thick Clefthoof Leather. This leather is priced at 3gold each in my server’s Auction House. What you want are the Clefthoof Bulls which have a better drop rate than the other clefthoof mobs. Go to North West of Garadar for the best grinding spot. That is if you’re Horde. For the Alliance, you could visit east of Trelaar, just right beside the lake.

Even if you’re not a skinner, Nagrand could be a good source for your WoW gold. Around the area you can find a lot of elementals that can be farmed for motes. Go to the area around Oshu’Gun for some Motes of Shadow or to the South for Motes of Earth. Then there’s the plateau of elementals where you can farm for motes of fire, earth, and air. The downside is that the plateau is heavily farmed.

If you’re in a cloth farming mood, head to Netherstorm for its netherweave cloth. The areas around the Manaforges are the farming sites to go. The humanoid drop netherweave cloth and Sunfury Signets as well. Sunfury Signets sell for 1gold each at any given day.

Lastly, go spider-hunting in the Netherweb Ridge of the Terokkar Forest. Deadfang Widows and Lurkers are your target mobs. You can easily sell these for 10gold each. If you don’t want to hunt for spider then grind on the Talonite Birdmen for their Arakkoa Feathers. The feathers sell quickly in the Auction House plus they drop green items that could be disenchanted or sold in the AH as well.
